Welcome to the Charis Foundation website.

The word "charis" is Greek for "grace," and our mission is to spread God's grace through service and philanthropy. We are a group of Christians who strive to help small Christian congregations all around the world, especially in Romania, to spread the love of Christ with financial help. The churches in Romania, with whom we have been helping since 2004, reach out to the destitute who are still suffering from the remnants of Communism in that country.

People are without work, in need of medical help, homeless, and in some cases without families altogether. We are working to raise support to help orphans, widows, and whomever else might need help.

Our goal is not simply to give money but to share the message of salvation in Jesus Christ alone and to demonstrate Christ's love through charitable giving. Of course we can help people in all countries, even our own in the U.S.A. And that we strive to do by the grace of God.
